Each individual of the church waits the redemption of his body

2 Cor 5:1-4: For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed about with our house which is from Heaven

Rom 8:23:  waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body

Eph 1:13-14: you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession.

Phil 3:20-21: for our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to his glorious body (see Luke 24:36-43).

The rapture

Isa 57:1 shows the principle: “the righteous is taken away from evil”

1 Cor 15:50-58 describes the event: we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed.

1 Thess 4:13-18:  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

The day of the Lord: manifestation of God’s wrath

Isa 13:6-13: It will come as destruction from the Almighty; the day of the Lord comes, cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger..I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity..

Joel 2:1-11: Blow the trumpet in Zion…for the day of the Lord is coming..for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; who can endure it?

Rev 6:15-17: For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?

Zeph 1:14-18: The great day of the Lord is near.

2 Pet 3:5-12: the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. The earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

The church won’t be under the wrath of the Lord

1 Thess 5:1-10: For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ (confirmed in 1 Thess 1:10 and Rom 5:8-9).

Rev 3:10: Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth

Rev 4:1-2: After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this

The Falling away event

2 Thess 2:1-9: The falling away of verse 3 could be interpreted as 1 Tim 4:1 as depart from faith (falling away from faith) but is better interpreted as an event mentioned before (1 Thess 4) called as the departure or the rapture (same Greek verb (Aphistemi) on Luke 4:13 and Luke 13:27, to depart).

If the mentioned interpretation is correct what we believe is, then the man of sin or son of perdition will only be revealed or manifest with the exit of the church, supporting the fact that the tribulation starts with a peace treaty right after the rapture and in that season Israel and not the church will be God’s messenger on earth. The seven remaining years of Daniel will then come and the appointed time for the day of the Lord, the day of wrath, will come for the nations and for Israel.
